Regrets

I just got my Note 9 delivered. I'm still setting it up via Smart Switch but so far I am really liking this phone. It seems to be pretty much the same size as the Note 8. I've checked for light leaks, there are none and my S Pen lays flat.

I have an S View case being delivered soon from BestBuy. I have one on my S9+ so I really like it so I want the same case on my Note 9.

I'm on vacation this week so I have plenty of time to use this phone and take pictures and have some fun with it.

Even if I upgraded to the Note 8 I wouldn't have any regrets. Like my previous 92 past flagships I moved on from. LOL

Meh. I came from an iPhone 7 plus and even consider going back to that. Might not be as fast, has a lesser display but at least it keeps going all day.
PhuseBox, you shouldn't be giving out advice until you rectify your issues (that no one else seems to have) - that's NOT fair to the Note 9 or the person asking the advice!

No regrets but the nagging inside voice saying you can save that money for next years revolutionary noteX I’ll be better spent.

The Note9 is really the Note8s with faster cpu, more storage, a slightly better camera, and .1 larger screen.

If I still have that nagging feeling next week I will return it and wait for the NoteX.
...and a much larger battery!!!

I hav a iPhone X thinking of of switching to android is this the best android phone?
Please wait for some other replies before basing an opinion on the one from the person having weird battery issues - this is NOT the norm! This is the first Note 9 we've seen on here with this kind of battery life - everyone else has been getting great results that we know of. Just sayin'!

Same here. This is the best deal for purchasing a Note 9. Note 9 is a perfect phone for the power users in 2018. The Dex/Dex Pad certainly put MS Continuum device in shame. I won't miss my L950LX any more.

No regrets here. I got both note8 and note9. I can go back and forth when want to. But since getting the note9, the note8 has been put in it's original box for back up.

I'm still waiting for mine on preorder. I can imagine if no regrets coming from the Note 8, how much less will it be coming from an S5!

Oh wow. Yeah definitely nothing compared to coming from note8 to note9 lol. You in for a treat buddy:) When is yours coming? It is worth the wait.

None at all. This is the phone I've been waiting for. Don't get me wrong I loved the Note 8 but this thing is great.

I had a Note8 too. The battery life continues to impress me with the Note9, and I love the extra storage.

The OLED panel seems far brighter, and the stereo speakers are another perk.

Me too. Any chance you'll be switching back to an iPhone?

Hmmm don't think so, I like certain features too much such as google search bar, battery life, screen, form factor - and that everyone and their mother doesn't have one! lol.....

Yup, thanks for letting me know that note8 is backup only. Donate the phone to people like me whose monthly income is less the cost of the phone.

You're welcome lol. Ain't no way in hell I'm getting rid of it. Especially for free. Unless close family. Go get on a payment plan.

Yes totally agree! Battery life is definitely improved. As an IT worker with access to both Android and IOS I would say it depends what you want a phone for.
Just to make calls /text /social media go for an iPhone
Surf the Web /download /play games /customize/use like a mini pc. Go for Android. The Note 9 is the phone with everything.

Only less than a day and I can confidently tell you.....Nope! None!! Off the wireless charger since 6 AM and I still have amazing battery life into the afternoon without having to refuel! 😎
