Reject calls on watch, still rings on phone

I keep my phone and watch remotely connected and leave BT off most of the time. All notifications and connections work fine. The only issue I seem to have is as the title says. When receiving a call, I reject it through the watch, but the phone still rings. It's a bit annoying when my phone is out of reach but I hear it still ringing after I've rejected the call. Is there a setting I've missed or is this normal?

Not normal when I reject a call on the watch it kills the phone ringing almost simultaneously and the call can also go to voice mail if needed, not sure what setting to adjust maby in your gear app

When connected via BT, the watch is essentially a remote control for the phone, including call rejection. When remotely connected, the watch is an independent device and uses its own sim. The both devices ring and handle calls independently, including call rejection.

So by having BT off it thinks you are in two different places and continues to ring your phone... I would say that it is working as expected.

Any reason why you have the BT turned off?

just habit from when I had the wifi version. When I walked out of range the watch would disconnect and then it would sometimes take some time to reconnect. When I traded up for the LTE once Verizon got them, I left it remotely connected so there would be no handoff issues. I have BT on now and I'll see if there's any issues or not, should be fine I assume, just a little neurosis from the other model.

Gotcha,

There still is a little lag between the BT to wireless handoff. Not sure if that is something that can be changed.
