I don't know if any of you have read this link about google voice. It's a little confusing for me so I think I will just stick to using my phone for everything. Check it out.

I've already turned Google Voice integration off. Fatal flaw. Incoming text messages do not go to your phone's native app, but rather are intercepted by GV. So, you have to use a GV app or the web interface to receive text messages.

Messages you send from the native app do show up in GV, but no messages come back.

That's not what happens on my phone.

Sorry guys I just had to throw in that Google Voice info since it was here. Has anyone heard anything else about release date? Still the 25th, the 1st or the 8th?????

I'm sitting on an HTC Dream with an extended battery, the thing is nearly an inch thick. Sooo many flaws too, and its slow as hell... Although I'll always cherish it because of what it started =).

I just read at Sprintusers that Best Buy is accepting full orders for the Nexus now. I would think that it must be pretty soon for them to do that.

I believe that they have been accepting full orders for at least a week now. At first, it was giving a ship date based on the type of shipping you selected. Then it was changed to not show a ship date. But you've been able to pay for it since that time.

I just read at Sprintusers that Best Buy is accepting full orders for the Nexus now. I would think that it must be pretty soon for them to do that.

Thanks for this. Yesterday BB said they wouldn't, even though their website looked like it would. I have tried to use sprintusers, but the website confuses me - and I'm a web designer!

Well I really think it looks like Monday, but then again I was really confident in 4/18 but oh well, That last leak of the calendar wording really leads you to believe it will be a release on 4/25 and the next day 4/26 is the official Google Voice release. I truly believe the reason we are getting a soft launch on this phone has everything to do with the Echo and the fact that this is not super hardware, they take this as a developer phone and thought hey not gonna be a lot of interest in it. anyway within the next two weeks we should have this baby in hand. talk to ya later

We'll see, I really hope you are right on the 25th date but with the holiday weekend, I would think at least something from BB or Sprint would have leaked already. I just got off an echat with BB and she said that they do not have a solid date as of yet.

Was at Sprint service today, hoping they could fix the non-functioning power button on my Palm Pre (they ordered me a replacement). While there, I asked about the Nexus S. For what it's worth, sales guy told me the Nexus S wouldn't be out until May, and suggested I wait until June to get the EVO 3D instead.

Well, telesales still tells me they will have it on April 26 (not sure how reliable it is). Local stores don't have it yet. Could Telesales get it before the stores?

That is interesting. May 1 release anyone? That makes sense since typically premier customer orders are shipped 3 days before the launch.

all I know is when I returned my Arrive yesterday, there was a Nexus sign was on the back of the Echo sign, so I definitely think that part of the wait is due to the Echo launch. I am thinking the 1st unless they decide to buck the Sunday launch trend, the 8th just seems unnecessary.
