I think it'll be at most 2 weeks from this weekend since employee training starts Monday on the NS4G. I just wish it would hurry up and get here cuz i'm so ready for my NS4G instead of my old blackberry!

I think the most recent leak only mentions training for Google Voice not the NS4G, a lot people are saying they started training for NS4G on 4/18 or 4/19 I am thinking this week but yes deff within two weeks

the first leak showed training to begin 4/18 - which was confirmed by the mgr at my sprint store on 4/16 - and he had posters up then too

I was just reading through my Twitter feed and I saw something that I really didn't want to. Android Headlines is reporting you can go ahead and order it from Best Buy for a whopping $699.99 off contract. I don't know about you guys, but there is no way I cam drop that kind money for this thing. As much as I want it....doesn't look like its going to be anytime soon. :-( Here's the link.

yeah, that off contract price is way too high. That stinks that you can't get it camelguy. Best Buy has 0 interest financing for a year. Not sure what the minimum is though.

I was going to pay cash for my TV and ended up financing at 0% just to keep the cash in my account for longer.

maybe if you craigslist your current phone and finance the rest with no interest, it would be easier to handle.

I'm sure you have thought about al this, but I feel for you since you've been active in the forum and obviously looking forward to the Nexus like the rest of us.

Maybe they are waiting until the May 8th date for this reason: Sprint to end instant rebate promotion, bring back mail-in rebates on May 7th | BGR

I could totally see Sprint doing this! Undoubtedly it would save them some money. I will buy the phone from Best Buy if this is the case.

That article makes it sound like the following day is when the BB Playbook will be released. Now, I don't know much about that Playbook, but Sprint wouldn't release both the Nexus AND the Playbook on the same day, would they?

I think they will since the Playbook is a tablet and not a phone.

I really doubt RIM would allow this

Well, I do know this. If my one year credit is available before the launch ($75) Could I resign a new contract, pay what I can and bill the rest to account? If Best Buy has 0% financing, surely I can come up with the rest within the year. What do you guys think? Please give any ideas you may have....I no longer want this phone....I NEED IT!!!

Also, thank you Craig. I just might end up using one of those. :-)

Just got back from Best Buy and the place is flooded with Nexus S 4G posters and dummy phones. Posters are basically saying to pre order now! They had 2 dummy phones one when you first walk in and one stuck in with the rest of the Sprint smartphones saying to pre order instead of having a price tag. Id say I saw about 5 total posters for the Nexus 4G not including the kiosk for the T Mobile working Nexus S. I'd say the launch is near but I am still betting May 8th!

Sweet! I'm gonna shoot for next Sunday.

I just heard from a pretty reliable source that it will be launched before May 8th. whether it turns out to be good info., who knows. I was told expect it to launch VERY soon.

Isn't BB known to jack up the off contract price of phones? I doubt you will have to pay $699.99 if you buy it from Sprint. I know they were selling the Evo for $599.99 while Sprint and Radio Shack were selling it for $449.99
