Android Central Question

I was using a theme but I want to go back to default. I only have one theme installed but it wont let me delete it. The button on the bottom only says "reapply". How do I get the default theme back?

Open Samsung Theme's App > click Theme's at the bottom > at the top of the page you should see a section called 'My Theme's' > click 'View All' click on 'Default' and hit 'Apply'

Unless of course you've somehow managed to delete the default theme

There is no themes to select in the latest version of Samsung Themes on Samsung Galaxy S9+. There is nothing at the bottom but app details in store and version 4.1.20.80705.

You need to go to my themes as dov1978 says. But the default theme is a bit hidden in the latest version. You need to pull the screen downwards after you opened the default samsung theme app. to extend the top menu. Then My themes and the deafult theme will be available. See pictures below. Top one when you enter and the one at thee bottom after extending the top menu. The deafult theme will not be found in bought themes only my themes.

I've never used the themes on my device before but a theme was clicked and applied to my phone. Since I've never been in there, I haven't deleted anything but there is no other default option. I've gone and tried to pull the screen downward to find more and nothing.

How can I get it reset back to the way it was?

There is no default but the theme it loaded which is some lake theme.
There has to be a default. It should be the first one on the left.

I have had the same problem with getting back to default theme. Here is solution for Android 10 on Samsung Note 9:
Go to phone Settings —> click Themes —> click account icon at top right corner —> click Themes within My things section —> click Default theme and —> click Apply.

Hi All. Please check if this works.

Goto Settings --> Device care --> Storage.

U should be able to see something as "Themes". It shows the theme u have applied. Tap on it and delete it. Theme gets deleted.

Hope this helps.

I figured it out on my S10! :)

On your home screen, pull down the toolbar and click on Settings . You should see a new menu starting with Connections, Sounds and vibration etc. Click on Themes. Then, Ensure that you click on your account in the top right corner where the little icon of the ''account / person'' is.You will see ''My stuff'' . Select Themes again and your first theme will be the default one :)

Let me know if it works for you as well!
