Remove Notifications on lock screen?

Does anyone know how to either remove the notification from the lock screen or at a min to just say message received or missed call without displaying the text of a message or the number that was missed.

There are times that I may receive a message that I don't want displaying on the lock screen for all to see.

I have check privacy and security but nothing is jumping out at me.
