Try going to settings then apps svro to Google duo and see if it gives more options , might be 3 dots upper right corner to uninstall

It defaults back to the screenshot that I just posted.

I'm surprised that you can't uninstall it , guess you'll have to leave it disabled.

Your welcome, indeed strange .
On all my other andriod phones I can uninstall except my 1+7 pro ,only can disable

I remember that in my Moto G7 plus Duo could only be disabled and not uninstalled. Same thing on the OnePlus 7.

I won't have access to the G7+ until tomorrow but I think it's the same on the OnePlus 7. When you disable Duo it should stay this was until you manually enable it back, but the Duo account will still show up in your settings. This number/account is linked to other Google services and I think it can't be permanent removed until you unlink it from all of them (Home, Assistant, two steps verification ...).

Did you clear the cache/data from the Duo app before disabling it?

Also, in the Phone app, look in its settings and see if there's a switch to turn off video calls.

Yes I cleared the cache and the Video Calling is turned off.

I am resigned that it cannot be removed.

I appreciate everyone's assistance but will just move forward with it on my phone since I cannot remove it.
