Long story short, I got this tablet 2 days ago. This morning while I was at school, I encrypted the tablet. Now I want to remove encryption because I would like to slide to unlock, and encryption requires a pin or password...Help?

A factory reset will do it, but that wipes your data as well. Don't know if you can unencrypt and keep it all...

I'm wondering the same thing, because I don't want to lose all my data...

nope its a one way street. it warns you before you begin. that the only way to remove encryption is to do a factory reset.
sorry :(

I think i now know the more convenient way to remove the encryption from your android phone...

First go to Settings-->Security-->

Then under "Credential Storages" click on "Clear all credentials".

Done!
Simple as that! ;););););)

it doesn't work for me. "Clear all credentials" is grayed out or it is not clickable. anything i can do with this??

Thank You!
