Removing pop up malware from Android

[AC Question]

I just click the small I at top of page, that will give information on that site link. Once I discover what link it is, I go to site settings in Chrome, and click that particular link on the list, and reset and clear it. Pop up then no longer bothers me, until another event, (accidental click on click bait). This is not a permanent fix, but it does clear out the pop up for awhile.
