Android Central Question

I have a samsung S8. I had a theme on my phone and decided I liked another wallpaper better. When I swicthed from the theme to the wallpaper, my home and lock screen changed to the wallpaper but everything else (icons, keypad, and background within the apps such as messaging) remained how they were when I was using the theme making some thins hard to see against the wallpaper. Is there any way I can change these things without applying another theme? Thanks in advance.

When it comes to using a Theme, IT takes over control of anything it changed unfortuantely. Wallpapers' & Icon Sets are the same way. They can change just enough code to be functional BUT they are now in control of that item until the coding itself is changed once more. Samsung itself has a browser built in & yet if we want Opera or Chrome or DuckDuck Go we can make it happen without changing over to another device. This is the same with some code that affects appearances' such as customized icons, wallpapers', ringtones.
Now if it is a LAUNCHER instead of just a Theme, there may be some more customizations you are able to do from within the Settings of the Launcher itself. These could affect which way the drawer comes out, what Icons are used, dark or light schematics, etc. A THEME is just that. A Commitment to looking a particular way based on how it is designed.
