I am on my horrible, well not horrible, tablet right now cause I am in my room just trying to get my phone back to where it was earlier today. No problem about you making the pizzas ... LOL ... I get being hungry!

So, for the moment I am kind of giving up. Yeah, I wish this site had chat, that might help. For some reason my phone was just not taking that file. I noticed the top line in hboot said "locked." Do you think that is why it just sat there doing nothing?

Regardless of whether or not I am ever able to install a leak or not, I don't regret today cause I got over my fear. No, I don't like the fact that I am spending all this time reformatting this phone with the same old gingerbread and I still don't have ICS, but getting past my fear was worth the time it took me to get nowhere ... LOL!

So for those of you who are afraid, don't be scared but know that you may need several hours to complete your task and when all is said and done you may not complete it at all but your phone most likely wont break!

Let me see how my schedule works out for next weekend. You let me know too if you think you might have some time next weekend. I am sure it is something small though I was so hoping to start a new thread this evening saying "I DID IT," LOL! I was seriously looking down the road to jelly bean and blah I am still looking at gingerbread.

I put the RUU on the removable disk G: drive renamed file and nothing happens when I try to reboot, just get the file name and no image. File should go on G drive removable disk? not F drive HTC storage. I didn't put the file in a folder either. I am "SUPERNOOB"

did you rename is ph98img.zip? do you have show extensions on in windows to make sure that it is not .zip.zip?

I did rename and will double check file and give another try this evening.

Yeah, I renamed my file too, but we are going to get to the bottom of it on Sunday. We will let you know what we discover!!
