T-Mobile was not permanently harmed. If anything, the failure left them better off thanks to billions of dollars, a roaming agreement with att, and badly needed spectrum. Hell, the mergers failure is bankrolling their LTE roll out.

Well, someone should tell their customers then because they are losing them while AT&T and Verizon are gaining them. I don't like it, but that is what's happening. Maybe if they get the new iPhone this fall, they can turn things around. It helped Sprint (except for the huge sum of money they had to pay Apple to get it, which has put a lot of pressure on Sprint's CEO by shareholders).
