Repeated Force Close of File Manager

Recently got a new Flytouch 3. Loaded the Tim2b firmware update last week. Seemed to be fine. Loaded the new Tim4e today. Looks like everything loaded properly, but when trying to open files using File Manager, I constantly get a force close. Downloaded the Astro File Mgr to try, this was even worse. Wouldnt even recognize my docs. Any other file mgr programs to try, or any fixes out there? Thx

ok, tried other file mgrs, sd card readers. All force close. Also, I can only uninstall these apps in the application manager; no clear data or clear cache options.

And when I go into Manage Applications on the SD Card, its a blank.
Files are all there when I open a file mgr to try to open them. SD card works fine on my PC and was working on tablet before the tim4e download.
Whats up?
