Replace my dying Gear S2 battery, or get a Gear S3?

When you charge your S2, and it first says 95-100%, and then proceeds to drop like a brick, I'm guessing that means the battery is no longer holding a full charge. Not suprised, it's 3 years old. I'm just wondering which to do, since I can find S3's for about 100 bucks, and I dunno how much a store would charge to replace the battery for a S2.

I hope you don't mind -- I moved this from the General News forum to the Gear S2 forum for more specific traffic.

Get the Galaxy Watch instead.

My Gear S2 Classic has finally "died". Shows no sign when charging and won't go on. No point in looking for a replacement battery in Nigeria for a 5 year old smart watch. I already have a Galaxy Watch so it looks like my best option is the 40mm Galaxy Watch Active 2. I don't like Apple watches and the Wear OS ones don't attract me.
