My Moto X Second Gen bricked on me this weekend and for the life of me I can't find a replacement battery online. Motorola wouldn't sell me one and asked I send it in for repair even though it's out of warranty, IE pay a bunch for a service I don't need.
Anyone know where I can find one?

My phones (2014 Moto x) is also having trouble with the battery. I just get a blinking green LED when plugged in, and it won't power up no matter what I do. I searched for a battery, here's what I found:

Motorola won't sell you one, their reply to my email: "Regarding your concern,Motorola do not sell the batteries however you can check with the other shopping web sites like Amazon." :-).

I really didn't like what I saw on Amazon, I've had trouble with 3rd party batteries for other things before. Based on the reviews these were no better.

I called a local 'Batteries Plus' store (https://www.batteriesplus.com/), but they told me then can not get them from either of their wholesalers, in fact they hardly had any Motorola batteries at all.

So, I finally went the ebay way, and found 2 sellers with used ey30 batteries. No way of knowing if they're the real or not, or even if they'll hold a charge. The sellers had a good rating though, so I gave it a shot. I figured $18 total to see if I can get my phone working again was worth it. Just hope it really is the battery that's the problem.

Hmmm, if I does'nt work I know where you can pick up a used battery cheap :-). I won't get it for a few days though.
