I have purchased a 32Gb SD card for my Droid X2. The current 8Gb card has quite a few files, including music, photos, videos and ebooks on it. I have also moved many of my apps to the sdcard. Can I just power down the phone, take the 8Gb card out and copy everything from the 8Gb to the 32Gb card using my laptop, and then insert the new 32Gb card? Is there something else I should be doing to use the new card?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Copy everything to your comp. Put the blank SD card in your phone and format. Then copy all your stuff to your new SD card.
