Request: App to Stream from Music Library

Hey,
At home, I have my music on a windows machine with share folders. I have a copy of the library copied on my laptop as well for back up.
For playback and management, I use Winamp which can scan a folder and generate a browsable library.

I'm using AWARemote to remotely control my laptop/desktop's player.
However, I also want to be able to do the opposite. Stream music to my android (nexus 4 and 7), but retain the library.
I can do it through TeamViewer, but using a remote desktop viewer doesn't seem ideal or the best use of bandwidth.

I only need to do this locally, so not over the web. Ideas?
Or, just break down and do a full PLEX set up?
