I ran Galaxy Tab S Pro 8.4" which had that absolutely brilliant 2560x1600 resolution. The screen was the best I've ever seen. It generated that "wow" factor every time I looked at it and nothing else came close.
it had several problems however. Battery life was terrible and got even more so as it aged. At the end of 3 years, it lived off the charger.
isthisretina.com shows that Pixels per inch went from 360 to about 320 a bit worsening pic quality but that may not be a bad thing because with lower number of pixels, it may get better runtime. The higher the resolution, the higher the drain on the battery.
Second, I did not like the 16:10 ratio at all, I think 4:3 makes so much more sense for everything except movie-watching which I didn't do anyway. 16:10 was difficult to type on. I seriously considered ipad mini 4 to get the 4:3 ratio until I realized S2 offered that ratio and then jumped on S2.
