Restore gear s3 backup to new galaxy watch possible?

Yeah... it's Christmas! Got a Galaxy watch (42mm!) and am ready to try it out.
As the title queries... is it possible?

So got good news! ;-)
Backed up my Gear S3 via the wearable app and then added the Galaxy Watch and restored the Gears S3 backup to it... bam!
Worked brilliantly with no glitches; all the purchased watch faces and data etc on the new watch now. Pleased and impressed!
