Restore Issue on Froyo

Here is the senario:

Had Froyo on SD loaded with APPS etc
Created Titanium backup APP & System data
(note this backup when to the froyo sd card partition)

I installed Froyo to internal (emmc)
Installed TitaniumBackup
I can reboot into this setup ok recursively .

I can't seem to use the sdcard I have froyo/titanium backup data on.

How would I go about getting the data on a new SDcard and getting TB to see it.

NOTE: in 2 attempts trying to push files I've corrupted the boot, after I push the files and reboot I get a blank screen, I'm able to boot from SD both my CWR and FroyoSD but not internal. I am able to recover and reload but end up above, trying to restore the TBackup data.

I did think it maybe because I saved APP & System data.

As a follow on question, do the partition names change from a load on a SD vs a internal load ?
