HI, Bdiddy:
I'm not sure what the rules are, but I guess you wouldn't have asked if it were illegal. This is my Sweetheart's radio. Got it from her father and restored it for her. 12 tubes. Almost everything you see in the underside of that chassis had to be replaced, including all of the wiring. She plays it all weekend when she is home.

Very cool. This would probably be better in the photos thread though.

Gorgeous!!

It's amazing that you were able to find the parts you needed to get it up & running. Good job!

What an interesting old radio & antique cabinet chassis, @mboessen !

Boy, I would've sure liked to have been able to get in touch with you a few years ago, as we were processing an Aunt's estate thru probate. The house was all chockfull of 1950's/1960's mid-century furniture & household goods &c. Amongst all of it, she had:

▪️A vintage 1958 RCA Victor Deluxe TV [ RCA Victor Deluxe Model 24-D-8655 ] - [Volts 115 - Cycles 60 - Watts 225 - Panoramic Speaker System - w/ 'Victrola Automatic Record Changer Phono-Jack' plug in back] - that was built into a beautiful mahogany console cabinet (I think approx the same height as your Sweetheart's radio), and chockfull of vacuum tubes.

▪️1963 Magnavox Stereophonic High-Fidelity Console [with the Micromatic turntable & AM/FM radio ] - [Serial No. 23983355] - complete with 'operating instructions' & envelope &c], with vacuum tubes.

. . both the RCA Victor Deluxe TV cabinet & Magnavox Stereophonic console were in excellent condition, having looked like they had never been moved. Oh, and a . .

▪️Heathkit Daystrom Amp - Model AA-151 - [chockfull of old vacuum tubes] . . and of which I still have, and would like to repair/restore myself.
I had a thread going for a couple weeks in an avsforum sub-forum, where several expert members were graciously sharing all kinds of valuable info pertaining to parts needed, and where to purchase parts &c, but more importantly, what kind of tests would need to be performed, including how to actually go about restoring the unit to A+ condition &c ... when some idiotic moron of a so-called avsforum moderator came along and deleted the entire thread, because he mistakenly thought (but actually didn't think, or bother to spend a few moments of his oh-so-valuable time contacting me...) and thereby misjudged that I was trying to sell the Heathkit, (doing so apparently wasn't allowed in that particular sub-forum). Of which I wasn't trying to do at all, but only had posted a pic of the exact same model Heathkit, currently for sale on ebay at the time, only as an example of what mine looked like.
Anyhoo, I unleashed on the idiot of a moron moderator!
As I lost all the valuable test protocols & part brands & #'s & parts suppliers info &c. :(

Btw . . I had read somewhere how people were installing Bluetooth receivers within old mid-century & antique stereophonic consoles, like our Magnavox Hi-Fi console—in order to take advantage of the typ great speakers—and I was considering doing so myself, but my wife, who was the probate admin, wanted to sell it - as she didn't think we really had a very good place to put it, at the time. The Magnavox was approx 7~8 feet long (we have lots of pictures).

Anyways, I finally listed them both in craigslist, where the ads must've sat there for a little over a year.... before somebody came along and finally bought them both! As the buyer was planning on taking up your hobby and doing what you do. And I think he was also planning on installing a BT receiver in the Magnavox stereo console. Hmm, I should text him and see if he ever restored them both.
