Didn't seem to help the GPS. Still not locking in any satellites after a few minutes. Any other ideas? GPS worked great up to SC 2.6
make sure verizon and google locations are checked, most likely the settings changed when you flashed 2.9

get another launcher such as ADW or launcher pro. AOSP does not have options for that
is the txt message indicator in the notification bar the color grey for everybody on 2.9?) on stock SC I mean. People with Themes will most likely have something in color.
I have never flashed a Rom through cwm, but I am wanting to save sc2.9 on my sd card incase I need to flash it with out a computer. If I have to flash it through cwm, is it going to wipe my phone?

I'm running 2.9 no lockups or laggs in had the sleep issues lockups and reboots with my dad so glad not to have to deal with that. But to op check that if not then you may have to run a logcat while it happens to find the cause
Excuse my ignorance, as I've not been long flashing, but how do I run a log cat? I am techincal enough to know that's running a log to show what's happening, but is there an app to do that, or....how do I do that?
Thanks for the help!
its done in adb. do you have adb set up?
No, Mike, I sure don't. I've seen a LOT of references to adb, but I've never seen an actual explanation of what that is, or how to use it.
Thanks in advance!
Hey ya'll!
I asked about this earlier and thought I had it solved, but now, I'm not sure.
I flashed SC 2.9.1 2 days ago and I keep getting what I've learned is called the "Sleep of Death". When my phone goes to sleep, it just won't wake up. I have to do a battery pull to get function back.
I was told last night to try flashing a theme and that shoudl fix it. Well, it didn't. I've fought with this thing all day. I MAY have found the issue, and that is the NoLED service I run. It seems to happen more with taht running. I've just uninstalled NoLED, so we'll see, but I wanted to ask, is there anyone else that has had this problem this bad? If so, what did you do to fix it? Did anyone see it as beng a NoLED problem?
Thanks for whatever assistance you can give
i will try and find the link for dans how to adb in the morning. my wife is nagging me to put up my gadgets now.
