[Retired][ROM]Superclean 2.9.2 EA15/EB01/EB16/EC10 Based

Ok, i really don't know then, i'm sorry. If droidxcon's clockwork thread can't help you, I don't know what to do.

im back to the white triangle again I have triple checked that the 2.9.1 zip is on my sd card. i went into recovery update sd home to select and it went straight to the white triangle

Just make sure that when you're in blue recovery, you need to first do the option that says "apply sdcard:update.zip"
If that doesn't take you into red recovery, and brings up a triangle and errors, I'd say that you don't have the correct update.zip file on the root of your sdcard.

don't worry about doing anything with the 2.9.1 zip file until you're in red recovery

thaks for all the help! I will try Droidxcon's clockwork thread, maybe i will stumble across something there

this is a pic of the problem im having i can not se text in the market under the search there is no text of past searches or in my settings such as font style i cant see my choices unless i touch the screen and hold it long enough to read not sure if i missed a setting or if its anything with 2.9 but with it being such great work i doubt it maybe the theme of nitrohoneycomb 2.0 is causing it if anyone has any thoughts advice or help that would be greatly appreciated thanks

I've never seen that issue, but i'm not using any custom themes (only launcherpro as a home screen replacement). I would try to uninstall the theme and see if you have any issues then

Read DroidXcon's clockwork thread. Once you are on 2.9, you don't need update.zip and we shouldn't be going to blue recovery first. If anyone used DroidXcon's package to get to 2.9, read his clockwork thread http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...-clockworkmod-recovery-w-screen-captures.html, download the cwm-all file, flash it through recovery and you will never go to blue again as long as you stay on 2.9 or higher. Update.zip is completely USELESS to us at this point. You don't have to delete it because cwm-all just ignores and bypasses it. I deleted it from my sd card because it was just sitting there doing nothing.

What's the best way to wipe battery stats?

If you are on 2.9 you have the batt stat script. Download android terminal emulator from the market, open it up. You will see a blue screen and a cursor next to a $, type su and hit the enter key on your keyboard, super user permission will be granted and you will see a #, next to that type bstats and hit the enter key. Phone will automatically reboot when done. Make sure to only use this once the phone is absolutely at 100%. Follow the instructions for using the batt stat script in this thread http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...8399-how-discussion-improve-battery-life.html and post any questions related to that topic in that thread instead of here.

So what kernal does SC 2.9 come with?

Read the first post in this thread, look under this heading 2.9:, you will see that the current version of 2.9 comes with the EB01 kernel. All of the information is there. Adrynalyne spends a ton of time not only providing us with these great ROMs, he also took the time to completely detail what is in his ROMs and added a FAQ section. Spend just a fraction of the time he puts in to do him the courtesy of taking the time to read the information he provides. Otherwise it seems like wasted time and effort on his part.

Flashed the debinged browser last night, and cleared bstats (following the whole charge process) this am, and since this morning my cell standby has been at 99% time without signal, then after *228 option 1 and 2, I'm now at 50% time without signal.. any ideas? Note: I also installed Widgetsoid 2.x and since have uninstalled..

any ideas? could it be the modem? I don't trust these time without signals can be accurate..

I just installed this rom on my girlfriend's fascinate (first timer) and it's been great so far until yesterday. She tried putting the phone on silent using the volume buttons on the left side of the phone, but there is no option for silent. It won't go past vibrate. Was this done intentionally or is it only a problem on her phone? Thanks.

I found its a change since Froyo, to fix it go to settings > sound settings > vibrate and then select " Only when not in silent mode"
That way when the volume rocker is turned all the way down the volume will go to turn off or cancel

The way i turn my phone on silent is to hold down my power button till i get my phone options menu and the top choice is silent mode just click and done same process to turn back on or i think just hitting the volume up button will remove the vibrating phone symbol and should b sound back on

But when I select the "only when not in silent mode" option it gets rid of the vibrate option when using the volume key. It goes from the most quiet setting straight to silent, it skips the vibrate setting. On 2.1 it went from most quiet setting to vibrate to silent.

Signal should get better after the *228 method, and the percentage will drop. I believe that also only tracks that from the last time it was off charger. When I'm in my office my time without signal percentage climbs up because, obviously I have no signal in my office.

I hear ya...since the change from 2.1 to 2.2 or Eclair to Froyo i dont think there is a way to get that vibrate option inbetween almost quiet and no sound...does anyone else know?

Look at T3CH9ICIAN'S post above yours. You can also go menu=>settings=>sound settings and set vibrate to only when not in silent mode, leave that on that setting, then go into that same sound settings menu and just check silent mode.

See my last post. It involves more steps, but I think it works. Let me know.

Another problem I just found out: When I go to use the camera a Warning box pops up and says "The firmware is not the latest. Do you want to update now?" If I click no it closes out of the camera. If I click yes it brings me to a option screen that says Camera Firmware at the top and then gives me three different options to choose from:

Phone/CAM FW Ver Check
Phone FW Ver Check
Phone to CAM FW Write.

What do I do?!
