didnt have the dbdate folder, but deleted the data=>data one, just restarted, will see what happens.

UPDATE: tried to change the icon, and it FC's android.process.acore still.

dbdata should have been right underneath data on the first page when you opened root explorer

(looked right at it 10 times, but kept reading data above it, and moving on....)

UPDATE: more of the same. try to use the launcher to launch contacts, and it FC's android.process.acore. still no contacts icon in my app drawer either

sleep deprivation doesnt help either lol. looks like imma just odin me a fresh install, redo my SC 2.9, and reflash an updated theme for it.

i know ive had my market app notice i didnt have anything on my phone, and auto-download all the stuff i had previously back to my phone. is there a setting for that? or is it just luck of the draw??

Anyone else getting call issues? My phone rings for like 2 seconds then says missed call, but the person calling me says when they call it just rang and rang.

One of my friends on Sprint has complained about this when calling me. I haven't hear it from other people, but who knows, they just may not be saying anything. I have answered sometimes and it is like he was already leaving me a Voice mail.

menu=>settings=>privacy=>automatic restore. We've all unchecked it because it is causing all kinds of problems. Good concept to have the phone do it for you. Problem is instead of restoring all you apps one after the other, it tries to restore all your apps at the same time

Yes, that's where the market FCLOH came from. I just looked back at your posts. By new EB16 kernels are you referring to these http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...-roms-hacks/68222-real-time-eb16-kernels.html or the one's from Adrynalyne's superclean thread?

the ones from the link. been working great for a few days now. almost doubled battery life as well.

Ok, try reflashing the EB01 modem eb01modem.tar in ODIN and see if that helps with some of these problems

i think i botched something on an install. the modem doesnt have the contacts apk's and whatnot in it. just waiting on SC2.9 to DL and ill just do a full ODIN wipe...its been awhile anywho

No, the modem doesn't have the contacts apk, I was just trying to address the FC and menu=>settings not working first.

flashed modem, no change to menu=>settings. imma reflash my rom and kernal real quick, and do a factory wipe while i wait for my 2.9 odin to download....

So after this whole nerve racking weekend of rooting and flashing to 2.9.1. I still don't a working flash player. I have downloaded flash 10.2 and am using opera mini. Any suggestions?

After installing Froyo for the first time, and then installing Flash, I had to reboot my phone a couple of times before Flash actually started working. Don't know what was up with it, but works now.

menu=>settings=>date & time=> put a check mark in hide clock. You don't need crush's zip file, Adrynalyne added that feature in 2.8 or 2.9 can't remember but it is there because I just tried it and it works.
