Since you flashed 2.9.2 voodoo, did you enable lag fix prior to booting and did the reboot take like 15 minutes with a lady droid talking periodically throughout the 15 minutes?

Unfortunately I don't know much about the sleep of death, so I'm not of much help on this one.

Just found this method over in the Rooting, ROMs, and Hacks section. It's a lengthy process but seems to be working to get rid of the sleep of death. For the last step I'm wondering if you can flash any theme. Not sure. Steps are outlined in this post:

I've had the sleep issues as well but had more to do with the kernel than anything running it's kernel fixed it for me in think the wipe of everything minus sdcard may have helped also

when you flash a voodoo kernel over a voodoo kernel, do you need to go in and enable lagfix again? when i run mount from terminal it still shows ext4 in the first 4 lines, but i wanted to make sure

Superclean 2.9.2 and Bluetooth Voice dialing

Bluetooth voice dialing is supposed to be supported in Android 2.2 but I cannot seem to get it to work.

I just purchased a Jawbone Icon (thanks to everyone who helped me with this decision) and when I go to try voice dial it says "Voice Dialing" and when I speak, nothing happens.

Any one have a clue as to why?

I am running Superclean 2.9.2 with EC10.

So I just downloaded this ROM the other night and everything is great except for a slight problem I noticed this morning. This may have already been asked but I was unable to find it in this thread or any other so I apologize if I am repeating an already asked question. Previously on my Samsung Fascinate with the stock software I was able to type text messages that were longer then 160 characters and it would automatically break it up into multiple pages. However I noticed this morning that when I went to send a text longer then 160 characters it sent it as a MMS. I looked through the settings and was not able to find anything to fix this. Has any run into this problem and have an easy solution without downloading a 3rd party SMS app, I have tried those in the past and did not care for them too much. Thank you.

That was feature in the leaked 2.2 if i am not mistaken, and i know i read about people who wanted a mod to fix it but not sure if one ever came out.

And yes 3rd party apps do work, chompSMS is what i was using and didnt even realize that the stock sms converted it for a while

Did you flash the Nuance app listed in the first post of this thread? Look in your app draw do you have Voice Commands app from Nuance? If not download it and flash it in CWM Recovery.

Nuance_Froyo.zip

If you have it are you able to do voice dialing without bluetooth? Disconnect BT and launch Voice Dialing from app drawer. Does it work without BT connected?

If I flash the "Samsung mms.zip", does that revert the black and grey colors in the messaging appear back to blue and yellow?

Edit: yes it did.

I just DLed and am in the process of rebooting into Recovery to install the zip. If I have more issues I'll reach out again.

Thanks for the guidance.

Small issue with default email app. It still has the sent from US Cellular signature in the config. Would be funny if you sent a email to Verizon support.

Here you go. Hope this works. This is not mine, just got it from a thread at XDA and uploaded it to megaupload.

Sms/mms fix

Call issues

I was wondering if there was a voice issue after you hacked your phone. I installed v 2.9 on my phone about 2 weeks ago, and everything has been going fine, however sometimes I am not receiving calls from people. It did happen before I hacked it, but it seems to have gotten worse.
