Well I ODIN'd to EC01 and still no GPS...im bangin my head against the wall here...the whole reason I upgraded to 2.9.2 was to try to get my GPS working again. I was on 2.6 and it worked for the longest time until 3 days ago...hasnt worked since.

I am thinking i may have a hardware malfunction..Sometimes when I disconnect the charger it still shows connected...and sometimes when I plug it into my wall charger it shows USB connected..Wtf!

edit: When I connect on WIFI i get an instant lock on my GPS...any ideas?

So you have google and verizon services checked off aswell? If not try selecting all three options

I have tried all three and no go. I have even tried different GPS apps and none of them can even see any satellites.

All this tested while walking around outdoors no trees around or anything..when i connect to the wifi here indoors though its instant.

try flashing EC01 through odin twice for good measure it wont hurt but it may help

Flashing twice didnt help. I guess I will take it back to stock and try again

Anyone having issues with Bluetooth after flashing 2.9.2v? I can't send pics to my mac... but can recieve pics from the mac. Thoughts?

Edit: Got it! For your MacBook to receive files via Bluetooth, you have to enable Bluetooth Sharing in the Sharing system preferences pane.

I just updated the radio to ec01 on sc too. GPS works great. I was having bluetooth connectivity problems with my car.. hopefully this will resolve that. I just noticed that where it reported SC2.9.2 before, it now just says SC2.9.

Those are just .zip files you flash in CWM. DroidXcon and I both include step by step instructions on how to flash them in our stickies.

I went back and read both and I didn't see the directions on how to do the flash in CWM. Sorry, wanted to get the clock package, TW Music Player and the TouchWiz Launcher and widgets. Sorry but like I said I couldn't find the instructions.

In the first time rooting walk through find the section on flashing the rom and kernel, these files will flash the exact same way.

1. Scroll down to "install zip from sdcard" and hit the power button.
2. Scroll down to "choose zip from sdcard" and hit the power button.
3. Scroll down to your "roms" folder, and hit the power button.
4. Select the "Insert_file_name_here.zip " file, and hit the power button.
5. Scroll down to "yes" and hit the power button.

The same thing happened to me when I used a cheap ebay charger. It works fine with an OEM charger for me at least.

Go to Jaekar99's themes thread, click on the developer name after each theme and look at the screenshots. You should see what the dropdown menu will look like. If none of them look like what you want, then no

Wow this thread is huge now. Sorry if this has come up but I am having a hard time finding what I am looking for. About three weeks ago I got the Fascinate and rooted it using Adrenalynes helpful thread. My kernal is 2.6.32.9. Phone has been running well so I am unsure if I should go to 2.9.2. Only problem I have noticed is about every three days when coming out of a program I have no icons on my screen. Eventually they will come back but I have been doing a battery pull every three days to set it back to normal. When I say no icons I mean I can see the bottom tool bar, but nothing but my wallpaper above it. Is this a known issue? And will 2.9.2 fix that? It is almost like the phone is wicked lagging to go backto the home screen out of a program. Happens with many programs not a specific one. Thanks for your time.

I have started to have a very similar problem lately...BUT... It started
AFTER I went to 2.9.2 ... lol

It just happens every once in a while... I'll close out of an app and "poof"
back to an app-less home screen .... It just lags.. I can push home and it
snaps back to normal.... It's not a big deal to me now though... New stuff will be coming out soon.....
