No sir, none here, I was getting like a hissing sound coming from my phone when I'd move my face to/from the proximity sensor but after I flashed the dl09 modem it's back to normal

It does the same thing as before: you either get the option of most quiet then vibrate or most quiet then silent. There is no in-between it seems in froyo. Oh well, I think she uses silent more than vibrate anyways. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hold down the back soft key (second from right on the bottom of the phone) and press the power button. If you are doing it by accident, your back button may be stuck, and you are taking a screenshot when you press the power button.

So after this whole nerve racking weekend of rooting and flashing to 2.9.1. I still don't a working flash player. I have downloaded flash 10.2 and am using opera mini. Any suggestions?

when you are in your browser, hit the menu soft key and go more=>settings=>scroll down to enable plug-ins, and choose on demand

I'm running SC2.9x by DXC's thread. I flashed cvm all last night via Odin and installed your VCast Videos patch .zip file to my sd card. I followed DXC's instructions on how to install a zip file via red cvm all to the letter. I am able to open VCast Video, but when I go to play a show I get the following message..... "File has incorrect data" and the show doesn't play. Is that patch compatible with all SC versions? If not, which SC version(s) does it work with?

Any suggestions on how to correct the problem?

ive never used vcast, but i wonder if it is like the browser in that you have to enable plug ins to watch video. maybe its in the settings when you open vcast. sorry i couldnt be more help

I haven't had to utilize any plug ins for this app at all. It runs well in stock, developers eb01, but when I jump up to SC roms is when I have had issues. Adrynalene sent me a patch and I am able to get a lot further into the app now, but it won't play the videos.

So my girlfriend is not liking the colors in sms messaging since I put this rom on her phone. She liked the stock colors in 2.1, alternating green and whatever the other color was. I just installed a theme called purple myst thinking it would solve this problem for her, but it didn't change much. Is there some way to get the stock "sms app" or whatever it's called back on her phone? Thank you.

Go to page 1 of this thread and look under patches. I think there is a patch in there for what you are looking for.

you could flash the eb01_mms.zip patch, or try using handcent sms. you can customize the bubbles and make them however you want

Ah gotcha. Wasn't sure if the mms patch fixed sms too. Just downloaded handcent and it seems like she'll like that based on how much you can customize it. Thank you!

ok...first problem ive had with the super clean roms. And it may not even be related to the rom.

Uninstalled Facebook, loaded up Flash 10.2, reinstalled facebook. restarted after each uninstall and install, also wiped dalvik cache after uninstall. after final reboot, pressing my contacts button on LP causes it to force close. There is no contacts icon in my menu list, and when i try to open contacts from the dialing program it force closes android.process.acore.

Any one seen, or have any suggestions? i was going to try and install the eb01_touchwiz.zip from OP, but not sure if that includes the contacts app itself.

try this. if you don't have root explorer, get it from the market. open root explorer. you will see a bunch of folders go into the two folders following the chains below and delete the com.fede.launcher files:
data=>data
dbdate=>databases
