Return or keep Verizon s3?

I have another week to decide if I want to return this phone or keep it. Thoughts?
The only reason I'm thinking about this is the bootloader being locked, at some point will devs get this unlocked? Or should I return this and get the development phone from Samsung?

I think it depends on what your preference is. If you are very serious about having an unlocked phone immediately and it's that important to you, then by all means trade it in.

I'm certainly no expert when it comes to rooting and roms, but I would expect it is only a matter of time before before the subsidized phone is unlocked. But who knows.

Wouldn't it be a better idea for you to sell your phone instead of returning it? Sell it for 500-550 on ebay and then pay 50-100 more to get developer version.

Vs. Return the phone, pay restocking fee, and only get refunded for the subsidized price of the phone.

Truth be told im kinda scarred about unlocking/evading the bootloader. Seems to be a really tough nut to cracks.

I would recommend ebaying that puppy, and buying the DEV version. This phone is to good IMO to give up on.

I guess you've answered your own question. How do you expect people to tell you to sell and/or return a phone that you use? You are the only one that can figure it out.....
