Returned my N8

I love my note 8, and so do the 6 other family members who purchased it also. WE LOVE the battery life and the large display!!

I got the S8 & my wife got the Note 8. We both love our phones, but her battery life is awesome!

I think it's funny it's even a debate which is heavier. It's .11oz. Not that noticeable.

It is a big phone. And you have to get whatever device works best for you. I can manage using the device in one hand for most things. A little uncomfortable at times and takes some getting used to, but it is possible. But for most times I just use two hands. Now the whole pocket thing, I never have Had a problem putting this phone in my pocket. But I'm old and don't wear tight pants. So there's that. Sorry you had a bad experience. Just get what works best for you.

How about the original Moto Z Play? Still get the big screen, thin and light (165g) , and amazing battery life. Only weakness is the typical Motorola camera.

Well the note is a two handed device and a big phone if you have small hands it wouldn't be good anyway

A friend of mine has a iPhone 7, not sure which exact model. He keeps it in one of those high impact cases. That thing is longer & wider than my note 8.

NO way. Dump the belt case, stick it in your pocket, buy a bigger belt case, or just stick it in your gym bag or your backpack, but no way I would "downgrade" from my Note 8.
Best phone I have ever owned, or used.
My previous best phone was the Note 3 and I had to give back 2 Note 7's, and I had to wait a year for my Note 8.
I love it, i'm keeping it and I LOVE that its a bigger phone that the others.
Personally, I think your post was an iPhone troll but that's just my opinion.

I have read a few of these returned threads and the same question always comes to my mind. Do these people never go and try out a $1K phone at a store before they buy the phone.

Before I bought a Note 8 I went to Verizon and tried out the phone. I checked the size compared to my Note 4 and found I could easily work with the new Note 8. I generally keep my phone in my shirt pocket or my front jeans pocket. I would think an belt clip would be uncomfortable - but I have always disliked belt clips even back with flip phones.

I am a Samsung die heart. I had just about every phone except the Note 7 which I almost got but then heard about what happened so didn't get that then tried the iPhone 6+ for a week and just don't like that I can't customize it like with Android phones so I traded back in for the 7 Edge which I really didn't like held on to it till I got my note 8 which I truly love. I have small hands and a woman and phone not too big for me.

Have you tried getting a Galaxy Note Fan Edition? Heard those were quite nice. Note7 without the bomb.

And iPhone 8 Plus is 202 grams, so weighs more than the Note8

I have a similar issue. When I go to Walmart in my 2 door Cavalier, I hate to risk breaking the eggs and squashing the bread, so I put the groceries in the backseat, but that leaves me with having to sort out whether I should jam my kids in the trunk or leave them at Walmart.

I absolutely guarantee that if one were to purchase a well made, well padded leather folio/wallet case the phone will feel much smaller particularly in the pocket. Rid yourself of the hard, sharp boarders of the phone and its an entirely different feel.

I'm partial to Case Mate at around $60.

I know how you feel. I'm loving the Note. Normally by now I'm also looking at other devices. Finally it seems I found one I can keep at least for a little while. Got the s3 frontiers well. Love using samsung pay on it.
