Tried the Nexus and found it to be a competent device. Just to large for me.
One thing I miss is the camera.
It is mush better than my OG Moto X [current].
Also have the Sony Z3 Compact, it takes good pictures.
Spec's say the Z3C should be better and it's close but think the Nexus 6 is it's equal, at least.
Switching between Moto X and Z3C is my current situation. Camera specific the Sony is much better.
The new Moto X doesn't have as good a camera.
Wish the Nexus 6 was smaller.

If you're on Verizon, try the Droid Turbo. If not, I don't think there is a moto device out yet that has a comparable or better camera

My return date was last Friday the 9th. I decided to keep it!

The Turbo's camera might appear to be better by virtue of its higher resolution, but the Nexus 6 has a newer, higher quality sensor that has been deemed relatively favorable by general consensus in reviews.

You know.... I can't figure out Motorola when it comes to camera. It's pretty clear at this point that the camera in the Nexus 6 is among the better ones out there currently. Yes, it may not win awards, but it certainly will reverse the reputation of Nexus devices having bad cameras.

But then there is the Moto X. Before anyone lays blame on the fact that they used lower quality sensor, stop.... The Moto X2 has the same sensor that is in the LG G3.... and the G3's camera is one of the best out there. So its not Sony's fault, its Motorola's. Oftentimes, software is as much a culprit when it comes to a camera's performance as it is the camera itself. Many of these phones have the exact same camera sensor in them.

Google caught a lot of criticism with the Nexus 4 and 5... then they went out and hired a bunch of engineers who specialize in digital imaging software.... end result is the Nexus 6's camera performance is significantly better than the Nexus 5 and the difference can't all be attributed to the newer, better performing sensor used.

Seems like Motorola didn't learn the same lessons.
