Returned s9 plus after 24 hours

The AR emoji stuff seems arbitrary. Not using it. Be cool if cross platforming with Nintendo Switch though :) Get the games too ;)

Apple must have used an untested new compiler with iOS11 to be as bad as it is. a lot may be they're move to eliminate all 32-bit support which was planned for for a long time.

Just picked up iPhone x less than a month go and went directly to iOS 11.3b4 and it must be they tweaked the phone, no issues with iOS or Face ID. only reason I like it and switched from Samsung was the Face ID. Couldn't stand the S9+ and Note FSP on the back along with Bixby (even after disabling).

iPhone X Plus or Essential "Two" would be nice.

I tossed around getting the x again. Apple care play was so bad. 11.3 was suppose to address some major bugs and it created more bugs lol. The fact that they didn't do a project red version is retarded. The Face ID was very nice and always worked with out question. I appreciate the ability to turn eye detection on and off. Those damn pesky bugs killed if for me. Anyways I am actually using my galaxy s8+ again. I remembered with the release of 8.0 you can do substratum themes. Which are really nice.

That's why the last iPhone I owned before the X was the 6s, they were all incremental upgrades until the X. I would probably still have the X if it wasn't so riddled with bugs, so so so many bugs.

I just wanted the phone to release the aroma of bacon cooking when my alarm went off. That's the real deal breaker right there . I am sure there are plenty of people who are loving their 9+ it just didn't do it for me.

I am curious as to what everyone thinks of the AR emoji. No matter how many times I tried to set it up. In never looked anything like me. Also it cant processes of you have a beard or not. The motion tracking was pretty awful. I will give it to apple for having the face id down pretty solid and the face tracking was on point. Plus sending friends drunk messages as a turd is pretty entertaining haha. That a side, all the things I do like about the 9+ my 8+ has. If anything the 9+ has me using my 8+(back story was my son's 8+ he decided grades weren't important)
The iPhone X is what sent me back to Android.

I had an iPhone for the last couple years(6s+, 7+). I actually liked them. My daughter wanted an X for her birthday, so when we upgraded her, since I was due, on a whim, I got one too. I did not like it at all.

The notch was ok to me but the things that bothered me were no Zoomed mode(Standard vs Zoomed). This made it feel like I went to a regular non plus sized phone. With the phone being narrower, it screwed with the video sizes and you are stuck with watching it full view which is smaller than my previous 7+ or zooming and losing detail.

The last thing was one thing that has always bugged me with iOS. You cannot change the default app for key things like mail, web, etc. You can remove them but there are times when you click on a link and it demands the default app and doesn't know what to do.

Anyway, for me and my now slowly aging eyesight, with no zoomed mode and the video sizing, I felt like the X was a downgrade to my 7+. So I returned it in the 2 week time frame and for the s9+(I had a Note 4 a ways back so I know Android).

I'm much happier now. Android has come a ways since the Note 4 with fingerprint security and I'm loving Samsung pay.

I switched from the note 8 to the S9 plus and Wow I just love this phone! The screen is Brighter, the sound system is outstanding!.. If the S9 plus had the spen this would be the perfect phone for me.

I had pre-ordered the s9+ and canceled it. My s8+ has been a stunning performer since day one. The only upgrade I will consider will be the note9 if it has the proposed larger battery. I'm a true battery nut!

How's your battery life on standby during the day? How much does it lose per hour when screen is off? I am in India & intend to buy it, but after hearing the exynos battery issues, I have my reservations on spending a fortune on this. I hope on medium use it can easily last a day. I need it for web browsing, photos, youtube and whatsapp.

I use the s8+, it's been the best phone I've ever used. My #1 priority is the display. They are the absolute best. I went to Verizon and played with the note9 for 1hour. It's humongous to say the least. I actually loved it but it's just to big for my needs. I feel the 9+ would be the better option for myself. Still on the fence, per usual!

Most people should know the big upgrade is coming to Galaxy S10.
most of us know Galaxy S9 is a small upgrade from S8.
you need to wait for 3 or 4 year's if you want a major upgrade,

Huawei flagship phone's have big upgrade's every year. according to they Advert making mockery of Samsung.

Ok so I got the S9 plus because I liked it in the store and everything, I am within my 14 day return policy and finally seen the Note 9, I would just have to pay $45 restocking fee and $6.00 difference in taxes and I can get the note 9. Is it worth the change? For me the battery is a big deal, at the end of the day I can take or leave the stylus. Space, I would never use the 64GB, let alone 128. So that being said thoughts?
