Good one, not surprising, I recently bought Galaxy Mega because I missed the big screen, and recently got rid of my tablet. I find I have also gone back to HTC One, just can't beat the speed, or smoothness plus the totally beautiful design. It isn't over complicated. Will still use the Mega, but more as a tablet.

Does the note 3 have the "stutter" that the S4 was/is plagued with?

My At&t Note 3 has no lag, no stutter. It's Teflon sliq in operation.

I have been thinking of doing the opposite... Going from my HTC One to the Note 3.

The nice thing is here that we all have options. No single phone will fit the entire masses sadly. Note 3, HTC One and so on. I will more than likely upgrade to the Nexus 5 when it comes out. (Or whatever its going to be called.) Unless the specs are just junk! I will keep my HTC One has great backup device as well. :)

Re: return the Note3 and back to my HTC one

tbh i dont understand this.

we all know the htc one is the best smartphone but this is like comparing apple to oranges. why did you buy a tablet in the first place? you obviously wanted an oversized screen did you not?

to me, this sounds like: "i bought a macbook, i like it but decided to go back to the ipad because iOS 7 is coming out". :S

He was just stating that he tried another device and liked his HTC One more.

I am trying the Note 3 since I missed a few things from Samsung when I swapped to the HTC One (wanted to give them a shot). Also am trying a "phablet" for the first time :).

Re: return the Note3 and back to my HTC one

With Android there's never going to be one phone that is the best for everybody. I love the Note 3. It's the best phone I've ever had and I've had quite a few. ...but I love the idea of a big phone and the S-Pen. The Note 3 tends to be polarizing, you either love it...or not. The HTC One is a great device and the Note 3 doesn't change that. The real question will be when the One Max comes about. We'll have to see how it compares in not only to the One but also to the other premium devices.

Re: return the Note3 and back to my HTC one

Don't get me wrong.Note 3 is a one of the best phone..big fast and full HD screen..but I like the one better in everyday use..Boom sound and HD screen and metal body is the reason that I return to the one again..

Re: return the Note3 and back to my HTC one

My wife got a Note3 yesterday and is still learning it. I've read some great things about the One (Galaxy Nexus now, great phone but would like bigger). One thing horrible on my phone is the tinny crummy speaker. I read that the One's speakers are great. My wife's iPhone speaker was really good. How's the speaker?

Loving it... Loving the screen, battery, drawing on the screenshots, all that. Also the multi colored notification light is awesome to.

I still have no use for a phablet....especially made by Samsung. After an S2, S3, and 2 S4's and their crappy radios and "stutter", I would rather lather in microbial flesh eating amoeba than own one.

Sorry your experience has been so negative with Samsung. There is certainly a contingent that agrees with you.

Can I have that in a pint bottle? Half gallon won't fit in my shower rack. :)
