Where the F are the standard s20 and s20+ reviews! It’s winding me up that no one is reviewing the other 2 models.

From everything I've been able to gather anecdotally, drier skin types have the biggest issue with the FPS.

For me the camera is a big part of it, but there are other features too. Sure i could go buy a 1400 DSLR, but I doubt i would want to carry that around with me everywhere with all the accessories and lenses and stuff. This phone i will always have with me and it has a really, really, good camera.

There are very few tech journalists that objectively review devices. Most of them fall into the same category of "influencers".
Dieter and that stupid engadget reviewer are so obviously biased they can't even hide it anymore. Body language is so apparent too when reviewing anything thats not a fruit company.
Better to decide for yourself if YOU love or hate a device. Reason I stopped looking at these reviews a while back.
They still have to stick the "no headphone jack" in the review for every android device. Lol Dont see them constantly saying that each time these apple zealots review an iPhone.

What do you mean ? Not hating. Asking for reviewers to be objective about technology.
I own an IP11promax as well as multiple imacs and ipads. My comment isnt directed at apple. Its directed at the reviewers who have no clue about what they are talking about.

What were the reviews not objective about? They gave high praise for the Ultra in all departments and criticized for the camera issues because they expect more from the camera given the focus from Samsung was entirely on that. And they have been plenty critical with Apple for dropping the headphone jack or when the photo quality was not up to par with pixel/Huawei etc until this year.
Also, it’s not just verge and Engadget, AC editors and pretty much every Android specific site had similar views on camera issues like Dieter had. If you tell me they have to wait for update, yeah right let’s wait for poor Samsung to push an update. They can only review what they have in hand and Samsung knew that before they handed the devices and didn’t put any embargo date.
And I do own multiple Android phones and iPhone and other platform devices. My Ultra is getting delivered today and I’ll make up my own mind on the device. But personally I felt the reviews were fair and they were similar conclusion made from many reviewers. I’m sure it’s going to be a great device and the camera not being best doesn’t matter that much to me personally anyway.
Sure there is always that one or two reviews that are haters of a particular brand, but that applies to Apple, Google or Samsung or any company.

I concur, it's sounding like people are offended the phone isn't the clear #1 and that upsets them and they attack the reviews. It's clear there is an issue, and if we are going to be fair we have to hold Samsung's feet to the fire and assume they won't fix it because they have not fixed it prior to this phone so why would they decide to change their philosophy on what a camera should do just because another years worth of reviews say the same thing as the last couple years. Until they do fix it and it's well documented they should be viewed with a critical eye on the subject.

I really wish people would take a more level-headed view like what bhatech offered. Accusations of bias are usually shorthand for "the reviewer didn't rubber-stamp my preconceived opinion, and I'm upset!" And more often than not, the person hurling the accusation hasn't even tried the product yet, let alone taken ownership of it.
There's a common consensus regardless of the outlet: the S20 Ultra is a good phone in many ways, but it has significant flaws and probably won't be worth $1,400 for many people. You're probably better off with the S20 or S20+ if you like the basic formula.

idk about flaws. the ultra camera issues were fixed in an upcoming (released?) fw update. what other significant flaws are people seeing? i didn't find any. that said, there is no doubt in my mind that the sony camera in the s20+ is superior to the ultra's. for me it also has the perfect size and was my clear top choice overall. still, for the bigger battery, 0.2" screen and 100x zoom (hey some ppl may find it useful), the ultra is pretty damn amazing.
