If you do a few full battery cycles (unplug fully charged then don't plug in until dead) that should update your battery stats as well.

^ Good deal, thanks. I got it out of the box with 42% on it and right now I'm at 33%, 6 hours later. Of course that's uncalibrated and I've not used my phone a ton today either, but still not too shabby. Excited to see what it does with a full charge.

I went to the Verizon website and the battery price shows 39.99...when I did a live chat with someone they had no idea how people were getting the battery for 19.99....the person indicated it was false advertising...I told her it was not just one person that indicated they had gotten the battery for that price, but numerous people...she stuck with the 39.99 price...is there another way to get the 19.99 price?

Did you add the battery to the shopping cart? The 19.99 price didn't show up for me until after I added to cart (this was a couple of days ago).

Don't log in. Or, log out if you are auto-logged in. After you are completely signed out, access verizonwireless.com and search for the Rezound Standard battery. When you find it (can be a pain), don't click on "show more info", just click on Add to Cart. After that you'll see it for 19.99 in your cart.

Ok...for some reason,if I signed into my account it gave me the 39.99 price even if I added it to my cart...by not signing on and putting it in my cart I got the 19.99 price..what's up with that? But at, least I got it ordered! Can't wait to see if this helps the horrible battery life I get! I have a charger everywhere I go!!

I tried to get one at an actual Verizon store today. Apparantly there's not a single Rezound battery in the entire city of San Antonio (at least not at a Verizon store). Was hoping just to grab one real quick, guess I'll have to order one. The rep was pretty shocked that it would fit my Thunderbolt, guess this news isn't spreading too quickly.

No one on here has tried the extended battery yet. Not sure if that is the same size as the Thunderbolt's or not.

I just ordered mine no problems. $21.61 after taxes.

I just tried this for the Extended Rezound battery and the price went from $59.99 to $29.99. But, as BJ says, no one knows if this will fit and work with the Thunderbolt. Also, you'd still need to buy the Thunderbolt extended battery cover, even if it would fit. Well, I'm assuming it wouldn't fit into the standard TBolt cover and that it would fit into the extended one. But... no one knows I think when it comes to an extended battery for the Thunderbolt you can't beat the TBolt OEM extended battery.

I plan to try some direct comparison between the two, but haven't had time yet. Just from everyday use, I'd say it's a noticeable improvement for me. I don't know if it's because my old battery was 6-7 months old , but I feel like I'm getting more than just a 15% increase in capacity. Running Zeus Skyraider rom has also improved my battery life dramatically. I can actually run 4g and last all day with my average use, and I don't have to use juice defender or anything like that.

thanks, got it to work, this was for a Rezound anyways. At $60, that's steep considering I paid less than that for the Rezound itself on upgrade. At $30, it's a lot more reasonable.

BTW, I already have 2 extended battery covers and 2 regular battery covers for my tb. i heard that the tb extended battery will work on the Rezound too, so i can share extended batteries between the phones. :lol:

So after a batt recalibration and podcasts for 4 hours and twitter the rest of the day (half 4G and wifi), I sit here with 15 hours on battery and 41% left. Also running Imo's kernel at 1GHz.

Today is my first day with a 100% charged Rezound battery in my TBolt. We'll see how it goes. I'll try to get back on here later this evening/tonight and we'll see where it's at.

Received it yesterday, paid $21.35 or some odd cents. Charged it overnight, been using it heavy today. This is a game changer! Nearly noon now, still registering 90%. Words with friends, youtube, txting etc..

If this holds up, I'd have to say this stupid battery makes this phone a 9/10 instead of the 7.5 I would have giving it before.
