Rezound vs Galaxy Nexus

Thank you will try those tips. Still looking for a way to increase the system wide font size those right now that make be a deal breaker for me and this phone. Would liketo have different notifications for different email accounts though. I hate to say it but the nexus did have seperate ring tones for different email accounts and did have the ability to change the fonts

K-9 will do different ringers for each mail account. ICS is coming to the Rezound faster than you'd think. There are already leaked builds on this very site.

If your talking oem ICS, that's the $64,000 K question. I'd wager it on, yes, if I had to. They have to realize that the font size @ 346ppi is not gonna work for a number of users in the android demographic right now, then again, who knows what they'll do with skinned ICS. They've overlooked things like this in the past. I've never needed large fonts so I don't know for fact but I'm sure some rooted tinkering could be done. Might wanna post this over in xda, if there's a way, the cats over there will let you know.

Do you know if there is a workaround for this right now.

That would be at the system level, so no, not that I'm aware of but I've never searched for it either. I highly doubt there's any chance of it happening on a stock HTC device, running GB though. Right now it's likely just a 3rd party setting on an app to app basis. No matter what, you'd need to unlock and root to change an OS setting like that on the Rezound right now. On the bright side, it's built into Android 4.0 so even if HTC official ICS update doesn't incorporate a system setting for font size. I'm sure some devs will know a workaround that will activate that feature to make you a happy camper.

That's what I figured. I will have to dive into the root and unlock when I get the guts to do it or continue using a magnifying glass in the meantime. Thanks again

Wish I had a solution for you b/c it's the kind of setting that Google should've thrown in Android from the get go. Once you get a bit more accquainted w/ your Rez, when your comfortable w/ it do some homework, familiarize yourself w/ the process and give it a whirl. There's alotta people here that'll help you if you feel unsure about any aspect of it. Believe me, it's not the scary monster it seems like it is. My brother is dumber than dirt, if he did it on his own, anybody can.

I hope your brother isn't reading this. Eventually I will give it a whirl. Gonna like you said familiarize
myself with my Rezound and then give it a go. I have been reading lots about it over the last couple of days. You're right a smart phone that can't change font size go figure. Over the last few days I have seen how helpful you all are in these forums and I am grateful for that. Thank you:) When I do decide to dig in should I use the directions on the HTC site?

Yeah, just follow the yellow brick road over to HTCDev.com, that's where you'll wanna go to unlock the pesky little bootloader.
