Ringer Mute / Silence Button???

Since I updated to the RUU I have lost my ability to just push the top power button to mute incoming calls. Did the RUU change a setting somewhere? Anyone have a suggestion how to get it back?

Also the "pick up to silence" doesn't silence anymore. Now just adjust volume down. Any thought??
