Ringers & Tones Often Reassign after reboot

this happens way too often.

a developer told me this is a known android OS issue.

it's driving me NUTS!

who else does this happen to? reboot and then something changes. a custom contact ringer goes to default. text message notification changes to some other random tone.

this happens whether i use a stock tone or ringer or one i get from the android market. what gives?

Yep. Happens to me too. I thought it was just the ROM I was using. Mildly annoying for sure.

It happens on my daughters Thunderbolt regulary....drives her crazy, lol.

Yep. It's killing me. A lot of times it's grabbing a random music track, which can be wildly inappropriate for a business setting.
