On page 62 of the Galaxy Watch 4 User Manual it states:

"Choose from preset ringtone or add your own.
From Settings>Sounds and vibration>Ringtone>choose your ringtone"

However there is no option to add your own. Does anyone know how to add your own ringtone?

I would imagine the option would be through the Gear app and only after you have loaded sound media.

Media was loaded via Gear Wearable app Watch Settings>Manage Content>Add Tracks. There is no option to choose your own ringtone even though instructions state that this option exists.

I can't seem to find it either, maybe in a future update?

hi,,
here's the answer to putting custom ringtones and notifications..

Thank you. I had similar success with Wear File Manager, although the sound files can only be assigned to ringtone/notification on watch after loading from phone. Previous Tizen watches, once sound files were loaded from phone you could assign them from watch or Galaxy Wear app on phone.

It’s unfortunate that Samsung doesn’t allow this function natively, instead of having to download a file manager app to the watch.
