I am curious where everyone gets their ringtones and notification tones. I use Edge currently and I'm looking for some more unique ones I kind of prefer sound effects an animal sounds nature sounds that kind of thing. I have a ringtone maker app on my phone and can look up regular sites as well and then create ringtones and notifications that way I just haven't gotten into it too far

I make my own from songs I like. I drag and drop the files from my desktop folders-hook my phone up that way.

I use sounds from other phones system dumps. Almost never have I found anything useful on Zedge. I don't like using songs for ringtones, either. Maybe classical music, if any.

If I'm feeling lazy ill use zedge, but I usually make my own.
What sites do you go to to find the sounds to use for making tones. I know you can take parts of songs and turn into tones. I like sound effects too

If I'm feeling not lazy and decide to crop my own I use Wave Editor on PC, but that's a paid program.

Most of my ring tones and notifications are music. I rarely use sound effects. If I do it comes from zedge. There's also a site called fun for mobile.

I usually download mine from iTunes and move them over. I've never found anything I like on Zedge. The quality of the ones on iTunes usually sound better than the ones I make myself.

I don't use music very often either. Occasionally something orchestral, but I hate hearing peoples' phones blasting dumb songs top volume in public. I generally find sound effects from movies/tv shows I like. I'm currently using the Soft Chimes built in ringtone. It's not very obnoxious like some of the others. Using combo of R2D2 and Star Trek phaser (from the TV show) for texts. Using I think Pure Bell (built in) for email. Still haven't found anything I like for general notifications yet.
