Question Notification and ring tones not working

On my Galaxy S10+ I recently had the screen replaced. Now my text message notifications and incoming call ringtone do not work. I receive the badge notification pop-ups, but no sound. I have double-checked the settings and everything appears to be fine. The speaker is fine because my media files play just fine.

Starting with the basics, have you checked the volume for notifications in your pull down menu? As pictured.

Yes I have. I've also checked Do Not Disturb, Battery Saver. What else should I check?

You need to assure the volume slider is turned up.
Press the up volume key from any screen, then expand it to get to the volume control screen I pictured.

That's odd. Have you rebooted yet? Are you sure your dnd isn't on?

I've rebooted twice. And dnd is off.

I have no other idea. Maybe someone else can chime in.
Since it presented right at the time of repair, I'd go to a different shop for a dx. Good luck

Welcome to Android Central! Play something that's in stereo sound (like from YouTube Music or Spotify), and listen carefully to both speakers. Does the sound come equally from both speakers? (You can also test by covering each speaker with your finger one after the other.) If it's only from one speaker, then the other one was likely damaged or disrupted during the repair. It may be that notifications are designed to be played over only one speaker, while your media files are playing stereo (and therefore can be heard over the one good speaker).
