ringtone help

a ringtone saved in my phone files/download but i cant get it over to the settings and into my ringtone list....help?

I know it shows a Droid, but I believe it's the same on the DX. Setting up folders for media.

If your music player can play it, you can set it as a ringtone from there (Settings -> Use as ringtone).
