Hey thanks for offering your services.
I had a ringtone on my old "kerosine" driven samsung non smart flip phone which I downloaded from Sony music box that I wish I could find for my new Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

It is a female voice that says "drrring drrrring, drrrring"
I have seen others that say ring ring ring, on various ringtone sites but they are not the same.

Got any ideas where to look if you do not have this one?

Thanks so much Polish Prince...I've been having lots of fun with Ringdroid today. Now I can use any ringtones from Crackberry that I used to love on my Blackberry. I have one more question for you...do you know how I can get a song from a cd onto my droid to use as a ringtone? I figured I could go old school and hold the phone up to the stereo to record (I'm dating myself here), but there has to be a better way to do this.

If you have a computer with a CD drive, put the CD in the tray & close the tray. You can either gently push the tray & it will close the rest of the way, or you can push the small button by the CD tray & it should shut for you.

If you install Astro File Manager on your phone you can use that to extract the MP3 from the ZIP. There are other apps that handle ZIPs and RARs too in the market.

It's a PITA but like mentioned, do a search and you will find you have to duplicate your music file in itunes, trim it to 30 seconds or less and then go into windows explorer and rename it from mp4a to mp4r with the r standing for ringtone if I understand correctly.
Then sync with your iphone.

I had "Starry Night" on my Samsung Fascinate as a notification tone and can't figure out how to get it on my new phone. I've looked everywhere for the download and can't find it and don't know how to pull it of the Fascinate. Any help would be appreciated.

it's an .m4r iphone file and I dont have the software to change it to an .mp3 any more
I forget who the band is I got the song off the net about 15 years ago
but it's a cool ring tone it starts with
I know your waiting an sit by the phone
I just found an old program from my old Samsung flip phone called PC Studio
and converted the .m4r file into homealone-wav.wav inside the zip
