Ringtone requests- post here

I've got one!

The "woosh" noise when a text is sent on the iPhone. I must admit I love it... can't find it anywhere!

TIA

I have no problem downloading Ringtones from Zedge, but when I try to download Ringtones from this thread I can never open the files.

What's the secret? I have a stock Galaxy S II.
Thanks

I hope this is the one you are looking for.

Hey thanks for that tone. That's not the exact one I was thinking of, but I like that one too. The one I heard sounded more... "windy" if that makes sense.. hard to describe... and it's been a while since I've heard it.. My buddy had an iPhone 4 for a while, and his phone always made that noise when he would send text messages. not sure if there were multiple to choose from or not.

They are in zip format. Get 7 zip.

I wasn't able to find 7 zip in the Market, but I did find AndroZip File Manager.

I'm not sure if this is the app I need or not?

When I start to download the ringtone, the download goes so far and then stops? I just tried to download the THX Intro Sound.zip and the download got to 19% and just stopped. I've had this same thing happen to many of the other zip files here. Sometimes the download stops at 11% and sometimes at 19%, but it is usually one of those two percentages.

I have AT&T and a Samsung Galaxy S II that is stock. I've tried the download over both Wi-Fi and via the AT&T network and the same thing happens regardless of how I try to download the file.

What am I doing wrong or does anyone know what is going on/happening?
Thanks in advance for any help...

Never mind :)

I have a MAC, but it can also run Windows XP, so I downloaded the zip files to my computer via Windows and unzipped them and then sent the Mp3 files via email to my phone and downloaded them.

I don't know why I was trying to do this on my phone? It's Friday; it must be the brain-rot caused by the work week! :)
Thanks,

Hi everyone. I searched everywhere and I can't find this ringtone anywhere. Its from a BlackBerry Bold 9650 and its called "Classic Phone Remix".

It sounds different from the classic phone tone. I would super appreciate if anyone had it. Thank you.

Hi, I am looking for the ringtone that I can not find anywhere...
it was on my i95cl & the Motorola Renegade and it is called RINGER #4

here's one for ya
it's an .m4r iphone file and I dont have the software to change it to an .mp3 any more
I forget who the band is I got the song off the net about 15 years ago

I know your waiting an sit by the phone
I just found an old program from my old Samsung flip phone called PC Studio
and converted the .m4r file into homealone-wav.wav inside the zip

I had a great notification ringtone on my blackberry that I got on crackberry.com. It's R2D2 talking, and I absolutely loved it. Now I have an android and all I can find is a very long version that drives me nuts. I tried going to crackberry.com to have the ringtone emailed to me...I can get it to play on my droid, but is there some way to save it to the phone as a ringtone??

easy. make a ringtone directory on the root of the sd card and copy the file there

Thanks so much Polish Prince...I've been having lots of fun with Ringdroid today. Now I can use any ringtones from Crackberry that I used to love on my Blackberry. I have one more question for you...do you know how I can get a song from a cd onto my droid to use as a ringtone? I figured I could go old school and hold the phone up to the stereo to record (I'm dating myself here), but there has to be a better way to do this.
