Ringtone volume constantly going back to low after lollipop

I'm having the same issue. Most frustrating. I miss calls because of the ringtone volume being too low. Have not found any solutions.

I cannot post links, but search for Volume Control (by Netroken) (formally, Persist Volume Control) on the play store. It might help.

I can't locate this setting. I have nothing called MY DEVICES. It's a Samsung Galaxy S5, from AT&T.
Desperate, I'm missing calls. When I press the left-side button, it shows volume at about 10%. I increase to 100%, but it goes down again on its own without my knowing it.

My list of Settings also does not include anything called CALL. Thanks to anyone who can find a fix for me.

I have a Galaxy S5 also and cannot find the "increase volume in pocket" setting anywhere. I am having this same problem and thought I was going crazy. If anyone can figure out how to fix this on S5, please let us know!

I have the same problem on my Note 3 - so fare I tried every thing and I can not pinpoint when or why it happens some time i receive a call the phone ring normally the the next call it only vibrate and no sound or the sound very very low and does not come from the big speaker it comes from the ear small speaker , I tried everything except factory reset

it is very annoying

Go to Settings-Call-Increase volume in pocket (about half-way down). Clear the check box.

this is the solution

I have a Samsung Note 4 cell phone and can not find the Call - Increase Volume anywhere. The problem I am having is when I am on a call the volume is extremely low and I can barely hear the caller. This happened right after Lollipop was installed on my phone. I have taken my phone to Verizon Wireless where I bought the phone and they recommended I take it to the Samsung Experience Expert at Best Buy. Unfortunately, the Best Buy guy was locked out of his computer and couldn't run a diagnostic test to see if it was the hardware or software. It seems everyone is telling me to use my warranty and get another phone. Before I do that I wanted to see if anyone could help me fix this problem; just in case the problem occurs on the next phone I get.

Take it back to the Best Buy guy; he cant use the "locked-out" excuse forever but you will probably have to educate him on the issue. Just make sure you have the URL of this discussion with you so he can come up to speed on the problem. If he can't find the "increase volume in pocket" setting, he needs to turn in his Secret Decoder Ring.

I have the exact opposite problem. I set my volume to silent while at work, lo and behold my phone rings and the volume is there, its on low but disruptive all the same. Driving me nuts!!! Its not the only problem I have been having since the update. Its making me want to give my beloved phone a painful death by metrolink train if it can't be fixed by my tech guy soon.

Oh, terrible. Why isn't the operator doing the required patch for this problem. My phone volume goes to zero several times a day.
The lolipop os also automatically change my notification tones, deletes certain apps or icons etc

I had the same problem unchecking answering and ending calls by waving hand over device worked for me.

I use an app named VOLUME LOCKER. It locks my volume when I change it and it asks for a verification to save changes. Tap YES and it is locked there until I change it and verify the new change!

I do not know of a FIX but I solved this problem with an APP named VOLUME LOCKER. Set your volume and it will stay that way until you want to change it. If you try to change the volume you get a prompt screen that asks if you want to save the change or not! If you do not save the change it will revert back to the original volume you had set after a few seconds! There are other apps that do the same thing but I have not tried them!
This solved the problem for me!

i am sooo grateful to know theres an app to keep my ringer on. i have dealt with this constant problem with missed calls for 2 yrs.! i just realised that im left handed and yhat big volume button is always in the palm of my hand. HOW MANY LEFTIES HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM?! im just learning my new phone note 4 which seems to be more sensitive than my note 2 .

I'm having the same problem.

Factory reset didn't work for me.

I can't find such a setting. Where is it?
