Ringtone volume?

I am a little perplexed, I tried the S6 in a sammy showroom, tried ringtone at max volume and found it low, lower than the Note Edge right beside it and of course the M8 I had was louder. Though I tried one of the stock S6 ringtone later on my M8 and it was low even on M8.
So is the speaker weak or it's software capped for volume or the stock ringtones are low?
I don't mind if the quality of sound is not top notch but I mind for the volume so I can hear it in malls and crowded places

Agree, stock volume is a bit lower but you cab change it though root is required.

You mean any custom rom can boost the sound? Or you need tools like V4A?
It's really weird to see how people had very loud speaker in videos, putting the S5 to shame
