Robin's LG G Pad 8.3 Thread

Re: Got my 8.3 pad

I saw that Groupon Goods has them refurbished for $189. Very tempted to get one, but the 16 GB internal storage limitation makes me hesitate.

I got it for 199 from b and h.
Also you can put in an SD card

Re: Got my 8.3 pad

Right, but the SD is primarily for media storage, not app installation. That was a good price--was it brand new or refurbished?

Re: Got my 8.3 pad

The G Pad is a nice tablet indeed. Mine has served me well since Fall of '13.

Re: Got my 8.3 pad

Bought a refub at the weekend for £130 (UK), arrived yesterday and I have already rooted and installed a lollipop AOSP ROM. Runs like an absolute charm. One of my best buys for a while! :)

Re: anyone use launchers?

I'm currently using Apex Pro on on my G Pad but I actually prefer Nova Prime and that's what I'd recommend.
