Rock it naked?

I have a case that I use if i go places that have a high risk of damaging the phone for example. If i go to the beach, pool or outdoor events i through the case on. Other then that when i go to work and every day casual use i leave it naked no case. I have the white version of the phone and like many mentioned about, it has to beautiful of a case to through a case on top.

I got it at the GuangHua digital plaza in Taipei, at one of the many small shops that sell cheap cases and accessories. Since the phone isn't sold in Korea (where I dropped it on the sidewalk), I went to HTC's home country figuring I'd have a lot of options to choose from for HOX accessories

If you search for "tpu candy mercury case One X" you'll find some online.

White one here, got it the day it came out. Have not used a case or screen protector or anything so far, no scratches, no marks, no marring, nothing.

I'm a firm believer of better safe than sorry. every time i get a phone I tell myself I'm going to be careful and not drop it..

with the g2x, all was well until rushing to get out of the passenger seat one drunken night and boom.

with the gsII, went a good 2 months with not a scratch till I forgot to zip my motorcycle jacket one day and while getting off... concrete.

this HOX is hands down the nicest phone I've ever owned. cases for sure take away from its beauty but that's a small price to pay to keep the phone scratch/chip free. gotta face facts (in my world) eventually the phone WILL slip on way or another and I'd rather damage a thin case than this eye pleasing device.

I just use an Amzer Shellster to protect the camera.

Sometimes I'll rock it naked though

I don't use a case but I have the gray/black version. The back panel is somewhat of a finger oil magnet but it seems to come off after a while.

I purchased the AT&T ZAGG protector that includes a front and back sticky skin.

It puts like a turtle shell style backing on the device and then a clear plastic screen for the front. Looks great in the hands and finally stops leaving fingerprint marks on the back!

I got the otterbox defender case for mine and it works great. Not too bulky but feels sturdy in my hand. Plus I trust otterbox's protection.

When I rocked my HTC Vivid I never used a case, although I probably should have because that damn battery door was the worst design ever.

I'm using a Seidio SURFACE Case on my One X right now and I've dropped the phone twice with it on. It held up great against concrete, but the SIM tray seems to pop out just a tad each time -- enough to where I have to remove the case and push it back in to regain service.

I do like the feel of the One X naked, don't get me wrong... but I'm well aware of my own luck

Yeh I usually have used the barely there case mate on my devices. But I refuse to put a case on this. Bareback all the way.

Agreed. Naked all day, every day! I do have the case mate barely there though in case I want to put it on for a night out.
