Sorry for coming back to such an old post but I'm in need of much help at this point. I too am running:

Firmware: 2.3.5
kernel: 2.6.35.7-I897UCKK4
Build: GINGERBREAD.UCKJ1

From the link you provided, what kernel do you recommend I download so I can get CWM recovery to work?? Plllllllease reply and thanks
