Going to try to change the dpi in the build.prop to make it hdpi and see how that plays out with themes.

Weird, I havent tested mms but im getting 9999999 messages, im sure thats not good. The keyboard's dictionary (is that even what its called) seems to be missing also.

This is not really a big deal but the hardware keys dont light up at all for me.

They light up for me when charging, and the batter icon comes up. The lights dont shut off while on charge though.

Keyboard doesn't have dictionary, it's a known bug. I'll have to update the OP though.

Changed my DPI to 240 everything looks the same o_o

Try using the same method to add themes in MIUIv4 to this one (add a folder called "theme" in /data/system) with that dpi and see if the themes are good (lockscreen too, but be careful!!)
