Right now I'm running pdanet. I don't know if there's something better out there

PDAnet is a nice app but only lets you visit http sites unless you shell out $30 or something like that. Sit tight with that for now. If you need to visit an https site use wireless tethering which is already on the ROM.

what does flashing the radio and wimax do? Change icons? I know this may be a stupid question I just don't know? How do I go back to stock radio and wimax from a nand backup?

Radio and wimax should improve your signal/battery life. The icons are part of the rom the zip is pushed to sdcard when flashing.
The radio/wimax stick until you flash a different radio/wimax these are the newest ones that you would of got if you would of got the official update.
Nadroid backups don't save the radio/wimax.

1)Reboot into reocvery
2)select flash zip from sdcard
3)Flash smooth sense zip
4)Once complete reboot

The theme and icons are two different things if you want the theme and icons then flash both,if you just want the icons then just flash the smmoth sense zip.

I flashed the theme but want to go back to stock look. How do I do this? I'm guessing I just have to reflash the Rom then flash the radios again?

Either if you made a nadroid before flashing theme then restore it or just reflash rom. Don't have to flash radios again those are a one time deal.

I also plan on flashing the pcimg that freeza posted up on xda that comes with eng hboot and Ra but I'm a little unsure about the process.
If I flash the pcimg zip do I have to reflash the Rom and radios after?
Since I already have RA will flashing this duplicate it or replace it?

if you flash that pc36img it sounds like you will just be duplicating your efforts. i say that assuming your are already rooted and have followed one of the full root processes that unlocked nand.

and to restore your icons -- like beezy said just flash the ROM again.

My nand is unlocked I just need the eng bootloader but I made my own pc36img and just replaced bootloaders. Now I have eng hboot

BTW I am running the full version of this ROM. Is there something I did wrong would it hurt the phone to redo it and try to flash again?

Your icons wont change from flashing a radio. The radio controls your phones connection to towers. If you're looking to change the icons flash "smooth-sense_evo1.0.1" which is a ZIP that was placed on the root of your SD card right when you flashed the ROM.

Post #1 has instructions attached to the bottom on how to flash the icons and theme.

Theoretically updated radios would maybe save some battery life and give you a better connection to the network.

anyone have an issue with sprint tv not updating? it opens up fine and tells me an update is available. so i go to download it and when it finishes, it says "Sorry, there was a problem downloading the update. installation failed"

I've tried clearing the cache and force stopping it according to some suggestions in other threads, but it still wont work.
